Airtel Nigeria is offering its subscribers a one month free BlackBerry subscription when they pay for two months.
This offer the company said allows BlackBerry users on the network to call, send texts, use BBM, WhatsApp and other services on their BlackBerry devices, and is the latest offer in a line of promotions by Nigerian operators since mobile number portability (MNP) was launched to increase competition among networks.
An Airtel representative told HumanIPO the offer is an ongoing promotion that allows subscribers to enjoy 90 days of BlackBerry services for NGN2,800 (US$17.50).
Subscribers need to dial *440*001# or send BCM3 to 440 to participate in the offer.
The offer is available on both the BlackBerry Absolute and BlackBerry Complete plans from Airtel Nigeria.
