Naija Rescue Alert app launched to enhance security in Nigeria

Delgem Incorporation has launched the Naija Rescue Alert (9RA) app, a new security and personal safety app aimed at enhancing security in Nigeria, on Android.

Delgem said the app will keep people safe by allowing them to stay connected through their mobile devices and alert their loved ones when they are in danger, no matter where they are.

The app acts as an emergency alert device, personal location tracker and incident reporting tool.

“With a click of a button, 9RA immediately sends out a pre-programmed SMS alert message to a user’s contacts, including the exact geographic location and map. This invaluable tool will help friends, family and authorities pinpoint exactly where the 9RA user is,” Delgem said.

Users can send an emergency alert when in danger, call authorities, identify their location if stranded, provide location details to authorities in an accident, notify friends and family that they have arrived safely, send a map of where they need to be picked up from, share location using email, Facebook, Twitter or SMS, get regular crime prevention tips in an emergency situation, report an incident or take notes for the police.

The app can also act as a medic alert in a medical emergency.

“The world is becoming a dangerous place to live, but 9RA can help make it a lot safer,” said Dele Emmanuel George, spokesperson for Delgem Incorporation. “Our flexible, easy-to-use personal safety app is the best safety app on the market for the price point. Users are going to love the secure feeling 9RA provides them.”
