Nigeria’s Spectranet launches new tariff aimed at boosting broadband affordability

Nigerian broadband company Spectranet has announced the launch of a new tariff plan called “Pay Lite Download Heavy” for its customers in Lagos and Abuja, which it said is part of its company’s plans to enhance affordability and accessibility of broadband internet in Nigeria.

Speaking to newsmen on the new value added services (VAS), Spectranet chief operating officer (COO) Atul Ojha said “Pay Lite Download Heavy” is the first of a series of initiatives the company is rolling out to provide its customers with “huge value for every naira paid”.

He said the plans are for customers looking for significant value for money, and take into account “the needs of a student, a housewife, a family, an upwardly mobile corporate executive, corporate customers and people with keen interest in downloading movies to music to games”.
