MTN, Regenesys partner to boost online education in Nigeria

MTN Nigeria has partnered with Regenesys Business School to launch MTN iLearning, a new initiative that provides entrepreneurs with access to free online business education.

The new service will see students access their education through mobile devices, laptops or desktop computers, where entrepreneurs can pay fees when taking their examinations.

Babatunde Osho, chief enterprise solutions officer at MTN Nigeria said: “This service is set to make a positive impact in many ways. As a young entrepreneur, executive or upwardly mobile business owner, just think of the rich learning and development platform MTN iLearning will provide you on the go.

“You can now acquire high-level skills that can make a difference in the way you run your business, whenever and wherever you are, while at the same time getting professional certification.”

Marko Saravanja, chairperson and founder of Regenesys, said: “Education still remains a distant dream for many. However, when organisations, like MTN and Regenesys Business School, work together, we can open the doors to learning and provide world-class education through the use of technology.

“Regenesys was built on the philosophy of human development and we believe MTN iLearning is a sustainable way of igniting the human potential in others, promoting economic development and ultimately alleviating poverty.”

MTN iLearning is based on a “freemium” model, which provides full access to free learning materials including study guides, tutor videos, ebooks, academic articles, business tools and much more.

Students only make payment when they submit assignments, take examinations or attend classes.

Regenesys is the first business school in the world to offer free business education, making all learning materials freely available online in this revolutionary initiative.
