Bytes and FrontRange integrate to provide cloud services in Sub-Saharan Africa

FrontRange Solutions and Bytes System Integration have announced a partnership for the purpose of providing a cloud service platform to sub-Saharan Africa.

BytesNet, Bytes’ business section, will collaborate to provide Sub-Saharan African countries with the Heat Cloud software from the hybrid IT service management (ITSM) solutions provider, FrontRange.

The globally leading FrontRange Heat Cloud ITSM solution aids clients in stepping up to standards regarding the requirements of their customers in expanding a business. This program, designed as a key for enterprises of varying sizes, has been appointed as the winner of the Cloud Computing Excellence Award twice consecutively.

FrontRange’s successful establishment of the software in South Africa will provide a foundation for the partnership in the rest of the continent.

Mark Neethling, Divisional Manager at Bytes, told ITWeb: “Bytes Systems Integration looks forward to building on FrontRange’s local base.”

“This strategic partnership offers our joint customers service that will optimise operational efficiencies while reducing cost and complexity associated with essential service and client management requirements,” Kevin Smith, FrontRange business unit Vice President and General Manager, said in a press release.

Bytes System Integration is an aggregator of voice and data network services, and South Africa’s biggest IT company. According to Smith, Bytes has an “impressive track record delivering seamless IT services to clients”. BytesNet, acclaimed as South Africa’s first cloud integrator, is also becoming a vendor to supply the target area of the software more successfully.

“We are redefining the cloud systems integration market in South Africa, and our relationship with FrontRange is a key element in positioning BytesNet as the de facto cloud leader,” Neethling stated.
